Community Service Federal Work-Study

If you are eligible for Federal Work-Study, you may choose to apply for a Community Service FWS (CS-FWS) job through the Haas Center for Public Service.

Use Your FWS Eligibility for Community Service

Step 1

• Accept your FWS Award in AXESS under the Finances tab, select “View My Financial Aid”.

Step 2

• Submit your CS-FWS Authorization Request . We will notify you of your maximum CS-FWS eligibility within one week of receiving your form.

Step 3

• Follow the Haas Center's application process for Community Service Federal Work-Study. The Haas Center will not process your application until we review your CS-FWS Authorization Request.
